Join us for the annual Nursing Education Summit, Celebrate & Collaborate, taking place on May 21 and 22, 2018 at Casper College in Casper, Wyoming! We are celebrating our first group of graduates from the ReNEW curriculum!
On Monday, May 21st, we will hold a Showcase, featuring a variety of schools and groups talking about what their experience has been with the ReNEW program.
On May 22nd, opening remarks will be provided by Jennifer Anderson, who previously served as the Director of Nursing at Laramie County Community College. She will provide a bit of history about the ReNEW curriculum, where we are now, and our vision for the future.
Our Keynote speaker will be Deborah Center, MSN, RN, CNS, CTACC, Senior Director for Education and Coaching from the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence. She will be talking about ReNEWing Collaboration: The Next Phase of the Journey!
Also join us will be Phil Dickicson, PhD, RN, Chief Officer of Operations and Examinations for NCSBN. He will discuss the use of the clinical judgement framework as an assessment model for educational progression and to ensure patient safety and public protection.
There is no charge for this event!
New this year…a Celebratory Dinner will take place on Monday, May 21st from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the unique venue known as The Hangar in Bar Nunn! There is a $25 cost per person for this event.
